BMW and MINI Roll Out Integrated Vehicle Management ‘IWS System’ Across Nationwide Dealer Network
BMW·MINI, 車 통합관리 솔루션 ‘IWS 시스템’ 전국 딜러사에 도입

BMW Group Korea announced on the 6th that it has implemented an integrated vehicle management solution across all service centers operated by its seven authorized dealer groups nationwide, as part of its initiative to expand digital aftersales services.
The newly introduced Intelligent Workshop System (IWS) is a digital vehicle management platform integrated with BMW Group Korea’s unified customer management system, MyDMS.
BMW Group Korea led the overall planning, operation, and system architecture, while software development was carried out by EPIKAR, an automotive digital transformation company.
IWS enables real-time tracking and management of the entire service workflow from vehicle check-in and service reception to consultation, maintenance scheduling, repair progress, completion, and final vehicle delivery. All service activities are digitally recorded, allowing service advisors and technicians to monitor vehicle status instantly and respond more efficiently.
BMW Group Korea plans to deploy the IWS system across all BMW and MINI authorized service centers nationwide, aiming to enhance operational efficiency while significantly reducing customer waiting times.
A BMW Group Korea representative stated:
“With the introduction of IWS, BMW and MINI authorized service centers can now monitor service progress on a per vehicle basis in real time, enabling more efficient and transparent maintenance operations.
BMW Group Korea will continue to expand a wide range of digital solutions to deliver premium customer service experiences.”
