EPIKAR, a company providing digital transformation solutions for the automotive sales and distribution process, announced on the 18th that it has signed a research and development cooperation agreement with the UX Research Lab at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University (NTU) of Singapore.
EPIKAR delivers data-driven digital solutions across dealership-critical areas such as test-drive operations and after-sales service (A/S). By digitizing automotive sales workflows that are still largely conducted through face to face processes, the company helps automakers and dealer groups reduce operational costs while strengthening overall competitiveness.
Under the agreement, the two parties will establish a technology development support framework required to deploy EPIKAR’s digital solutions across the Southeast Asian market, with Singapore serving as a regional hub. They will also collaborate on strategies to enable the practical, large scale adoption of EPIKAR’s platform within local dealership environments.
To support this initiative, EPIKAR has appointed Professor Lee Kwan Min, Director of the NTU UX Research Lab, as its Chief Scientific Adviser. Professor Lee will provide strategic guidance on design innovation, technology support frameworks, and global business development.
Professor Lee stated:
“Globally, automotive distribution remains one of the slowest industries to undergo digital transformation.
I decided to join EPIKAR after recognizing its strong potential, as it offers comprehensive solutions across every stage of automotive distribution.”
Han Bosuk, CEO of EPIKAR, commented:
“With the appointment of a globally recognized UI/UX authority and former Samsung Electronics executive, we expect a significant acceleration in both our technological capabilities and service quality.
Building on Singapore as our regional base, EPIKAR will actively expand into Southeast Asia, North America, and Europe.”
