무인자동차전시장, 르노코리아 강남 전시장 리뉴얼로 획기적인 '에피카' 모빌리티 솔루션의 진화

Redesigning the automotive purchase journey with solutions such as AI consultation and on-demand test drives
Creating “showrooms customers want to stay in” through diversified customer experiences
Mobility solutions company EPIKAR successfully led the full-scale renovation of Renault Korea’s Gangnam showroom on the 3rd, presenting a new paradigm for the automotive industry.
This project goes beyond a simple facility upgrade, marking a transformation of the showroom into a multi-purpose cultural space that connects everyday life with the automotive experience.

Through this initiative, EPIKAR has newly demonstrated that automotive showrooms can evolve into lifestyle hubs where customers stay, relax, and enjoy their time.
The Gangnam showroom renewal drew particular attention as the first Renault dealership worldwide to introduce an F&B (Food & Beverage) space. Visitors are no longer limited to viewing vehicles but can experience the showroom as a place of rest and cultural engagement.
The façade design was also redesigned to reflect Renault’s brand identity, clearly expressing the brand’s presence through refined architectural aesthetics within the heart of Gangnam’s urban landscape.

EPIKAR fully implemented its flagship digital innovation solutions through this project.
The unmanned showroom system EntryGO utilizes smart authentication technology, enabling visitors to access the showroom at any time without restrictions imposed by operating hours.
Customers can freely enter the showroom after completing a QR-code-based verification process and experience vehicles without staff assistance. This innovation removes the time constraints of traditional showroom operations and allows customers to engage with the brand whenever they choose.

Another major innovation is PIKAR Genie, an AI powered consultation system.
The service analyzes customer preferences and requirements in real time and provides personalized quotations and consultations accordingly.
Moving away from one-directional, standardized sales consultations, PIKAR Genie delivers solutions tailored to each customer’s lifestyle and situation. Data accumulated during consultations is continuously re-learned by the system, creating a virtuous cycle that further enhances service quality.
The Drive2U service also plays a central role in this showroom transformation.
Customers can test drive vehicles at their preferred time and location without visiting a showroom, enabled by EPIKAR’s reservation platform and location-based technologies.
This service is particularly attractive for urban customers with limited time, and such flexible test-drive experiences are expected to significantly increase conversion rates from interest to purchase.
Han Bosuk, CEO of EPIKAR, stated,
“The Renault Korea Gangnam showroom project is not merely a spatial renewal, but a platform that presents a new future for the automotive industry and a tangible example of customer-centric innovation.”
He added,
“EPIKAR aims to build a platform capable of accommodating the diverse needs of customers around the world by advancing AI, big data, and digital twin technologies, and through this, we plan to strengthen our unique position as a mobility solutions company.”
Since last year, EPIKAR has rapidly expanded its business scope after launching Renault Korea dealership operations in Seoul. By operating showrooms across key districts such as Gangnam, Dongjak, and Seocho, the company has established its identity beyond that of a conventional sales dealer, positioning itself as a mobility solutions provider.
In particular, through the Renault Korea Gangnam showroom renewal where digital technology and emotional experience, innovation and culture, and customer-centric values converge EPIKAR seeks to demonstrate a path for the automotive industry to evolve beyond a product centered business into one that enriches human life and emotion.
