BMW and MINI Roll Out Integrated Vehicle Management ‘IWS System’ Across Nationwide Dealer Network
BMW·MINI, 車 통합관리 솔루션 ‘IWS 시스템’ 전국 딜러사에 도입

BMW Group Korea announced on the 6th that it has introduced an integrated vehicle management solution across all service centers operated by its seven authorized dealer groups nationwide, as part of its initiative to expand digital after-sales services.
The newly implemented Intelligent Workshop System (IWS) is a digital vehicle management platform integrated with the company’s unified customer management system, MyDMS.
BMW Group Korea oversaw the system’s overall planning, operation, and architecture, while software development was carried out by EPIKAR, an automotive digital transformation company.
The IWS system enables real-time monitoring and recording of the entire service workflow—from vehicle check-in and service reception to consultation, maintenance scheduling, repair progress, completion, and final vehicle delivery.
By digitizing all service touchpoints, the platform allows service advisors and technicians to quickly verify vehicle status and respond more efficiently throughout the repair process.
BMW Group Korea plans to deploy the IWS system across all BMW and MINI authorized service centers nationwide, with the goal of improving operational efficiency and significantly reducing customer waiting times.
A BMW Group Korea official stated:
“With the introduction of IWS, BMW and MINI authorized service centers can now manage service progress on a per-vehicle basis in real time, enabling more efficient and transparent maintenance operations.
Going forward, BMW Group Korea will continue to expand a wide range of digital solutions to deliver premium customer service experiences.”
