Epikar Selected for KB Financial Group’s Startup Incubation Program​

Epikar (CEO Han Bosuk) announced on May 10 that it has been selected for the “KB Starters” startup incubation program by KB Financial Group for the first half of 2023.​​

​ According to Epikar, KB Starters is a program run by KB Innovation Hub under KB Financial Group to discover and nurture promising startups with strong potential for innovation and growth. Epikar was selected for its unique position as the only Korean startup driving full-scale digital transformation in the automobile sales and distribution market, and for developing solutions that apply advanced technologies such as big data and AI.​​

​ As a result, Epikar will receive support from KB Innovation Hub in the form of investment and scale-up support programs, mentoring in fields such as law, taxation, and accounting, and access to collaborative workspaces located in Gangnam and Gwanak, Seoul.​​

​ Han Bosuk, CEO of Epikar, said, “Having found such strong backing, we will commit all our capabilities to developing even greater innovation services,” and added, “We also plan to actively expand into global markets including the United States and Southeast Asia.”​​

​ He further explained, “Epikar develops and operates digital solutions essential to the car sales process, providing them to automakers and dealerships. A representative example is BMW Korea and its seven official dealerships, which currently use Epikar’s digital solutions for processes such as test drives and after-sales service.”​ ​
